Music has always been a part of my life. My dad worked in studios and my uncle is a DJ, so I was introduced to that world pretty early.
What I love most about DJing is figuring out what makes a crowd move. Every group is different, and I don't believe in walking in with the same playlist every night. I'm an open format DJ, I make most of my mashups live, take requests, and let the room tell me where the night should go.
Some of my favorite moments are when the right song or transition gets the person who's been standing off to the side all night to finally come out of their shell. That genuine reaction is what makes it fun for me.
